We have also arranged a carriage ride around historic Charleston. A visit to Fort Sumter, the location of the first battle of the Civil War, where being launched into a different time altogether is in store!
New adventures await at Middleton Place, an 1880s experience,  followed by the Charleston Tea Plantation. We finish today with a cruise on the wonderful waters of South Carolina.  In Georgia, we have landed a tour of St. Simon Island.
We next travel to and stay the night on Jekyll Island. Our morning holds a tram tour of Jekyll Island, where people from all walks of life have lived. Next, we’re off to Savannah Historic District for two glorious nights.  Here expect to explore Savannah’s historic homes and gardens and have free time to enjoy Savannah using an unlimited hop-on, hop-off trolley pass.
Tonight we gather for a luxury dinner on a riverboat cruise.  Our journey toward home includes a unique visit to The Biblical  History Center where a biblical meal awaits. We also will spend time at the Unclaimed Baggage Center—no two visits are the same!

Tour Description

Your package includes deluxe transportation and accommodations, all listed tour fees, and 16 meals.

You are invited to join other Making Memories travelers on a Mayflower-themed tour of England, on the 400th anniversary of the historic voyage, an event of global significance. The Mayflower Pilgrims’ principles of individual liberty and freedom first took root in England, were nurtured in the Netherlands, and then flowered in America. Their values have since guided all modern democracies.  On this tour you’ll gain an understanding of the Pilgrims’ lives before they sailed by visiting the homes where they lived, the churches where they worshiped, and the jail in Boston where they were imprisoned. You will also see the port of Plymouth, their final departure point. Airfare not included.
